YOUR HISTORY
On December 17th, you’ll have a rare opportunity to see historic photographs from the 1977 504 Demonstrations when disabled protesters stopped the resurrection of the shameful U.S. doctrine of separate-but-equal segregation. HolLynn D’Lil, author of Becoming Real in 24 Days which chronicles with more than 200 photographs this important event in U.S. history will show you what really happened during the 3 and a half week take-over of the San Francisco Federal building.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
Today your access rights are being demolished by the Division of the State Architect. It’s time to do something about it! There will be a slide show explaining the access rights we’ve lost in restaurants and to newly constructed buildings, as well as other assaults. Funds have been raised to bus advocates to Sacramento January 19th to protest the destruction. The December 17th presentation will prepare you to follow in the footsteps of those who have gone before you to fight for disability rights.
KNOW YOURSELF
Can you keep the movement for disability rights going? Are you an advocate for yourself and others? Help make history again and save our access rights!
