Disabled folks need to create our own media and images since so few exist. At this workshop, the second event in this San Francisco Disability Book Reading Series, Corbett Joan OToole shares some of the history behind “Fading Scars” and how she dreamed it into existence. After a brief Q&A, we will all share dreams of #CripMedia. What do we wish exists in the world? What gifts do we bring to creating #CripMedia? The focus of the workshop is on dreaming BIG, imagining wild possibilities, and sharing our dreams with each other. Folks are welcome to bring their BIG MEDIA DREAMS on pieces of paper ready to be put up on the walls, or invent them at the workshop!
Light refreshments will be provided.
The event is free, but space is limited, so please reserve your spot here:
