    Tips For Flu Season

Flu season is upon us, yet again. Seniors and people with certain disabilities may be at high risk of catching the flu. We urge all of our friends in the community to follow the advice of their doctors, both for preventing illness and, for those who do contract the flu, for making a full recovery. If you have an appointment at ILRCSF, but feel unwell, please contact us and let us know you can’t come in person. We can always arrange for staff to provide support, information and advocacy over the phone, via email, or even via Skype, if necessary.

If you haven’t yet had a flu shot, and are interested in getting one, this is the easiest way to find out where they’re being offered.

The San Francisco Department of Public Health has issued some helpful tips aimed at preventing the spread of this year’s strain, which they’ve made available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Please feel free to share with your friends and family.
