Volunteer Opportunity

ILRCSF has an opportunity for an administrative volunteer for 2-3 hours a day, five days a week (negotiable- see below.) Duties include:

Llight data entry

Covering the reception during break time

Preparing resources for meetings, groups, rallies and protests

Other tasks, as required

Twice a month, this volunteer will be required to serve as a guide to a staff member, as she attends meetings at City Hall.

This opportunity is perfect for anyone interested in activism, advocacy, civic engagement, and civil rights, as ILRCSF's work deals with the rights of people with disabilities. There will be many opportunities for this volunteer to get involved in activism - it all depends on your level of interest and enthusiasm. Several current staff members - including ILRCSF's Executive Director - started out as ILRCSF volunteers and interns.

The hours associated with his position are negotiable, and the position may be covered by two part-time volunteers.

To apply for this volunteer position, contact Michelle Pucket (415) 543-6222
