These summits will explore opportunities for people with disabilities and their allies to organize for the fall election, develop strategies to break barriers to accessible voting and to increase the disability community’s voter turnout in 2014. The summit will begin with a constructive analysis of current barriers to voting and hear from organizations and projects aimed at creating solutions to increase voter participation. In the afternoon participants will have the opportunity to join breakout sessions based on the projects explored during the morning and plan for a fall election activity. The day will end with a closing speech and chance to claim our commitments to increasing the disability vote in 2014.
